Command Guide

Everything you need to know about using DumpsterBot in your Discord server. All commands use Discord's slash command system - type /dump in any channel to open the dashboard and start cleaning up.

Dumping Messages

Bulk-delete messages with powerful filters. Pinned messages are always skipped by default.

/dumpOpen the interactive delete dashboard

Opens an interactive dashboard right in Discord. /dump takes no arguments — you choose a target and any filters from the dashboard, run a dry-run preview to see the exact matches, and confirm before a single message is deleted. Messages older than 14 days are handled automatically.

Scheduled Dumps

Recurring automatic cleanup on a schedule you choose. Each scheduled dump deducts credits like a manual one (1 credit per deleted message).

/dump-scheduleSet up a recurring dump

Set up a recurring dump on a channel. Choose a frequency — hourly, daily, or weekly — plus the same filters as a manual dump, and the bot runs it automatically. No cron to configure.
